Need for the mountains, river, land and trees. My last SEP trip has got to be my best ever. 6 days and 5 nights of trekking in the Arctic Circle with Jinyi. The journey began from Abisko and ended in Nikkaluokta. When I was trekking i felt that time did not exist, only spaces. Being close to nature triggered many questions. Why is the mountain so high? Why is the stupid mosquito created? If it's like 8 degree in high summer, then what is the temperature like in winter here? Wah, so cold the animals can survive meh? Will our tent get blown away in the cold strong wind? Where is the wind blowing from? - Is it land breeze or sea breeze? We can't get an answer. I think wind is mysterious... Cloud. River. Snow - the 3 different states of water. They are equally mysterious and amazing. Then Schrollinger's equation and Werner Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle of Quantum Mechanics flashed across my mind. (Men's desire to uncover the secret of Nature but as always Nature has a way of preventing men from finding out why). and many many many many more questions....
The noblest thing a human being can experience is acceptance of the mystery.(Brida)
Then I thought it must be the work of God.
