Life is like a mist

I was dying, 2 days before christmas. I was rushed to the ER and I time was running out. I was having really bad habits, a careles life. I’m not a spiritual man, I don’t believe in any god or supreme being whatsoever, but all the people I loved was with me at that moment and swore to them that if the doctors could save me, I would change my life and start giving back to people. 6 hours later, the doctor told me I was as healthy as I could be. it was all in my mind. now, 4 years later I kept my promise. I “cured” my head, found joy in life and I live it seriously. I give when I can and try to make a better world one day at the time. My “moment” was that day, when I KNEW I was dying.
